Let us begin with one of the most outrageous: Nicki Minaj. Though I love her music and admire her for being one of the only current successful female rappers, this outfit was...wow. What was she thinking? Nicki is known for her craziness, which I admire, but...what?

Was she trying to convey a message of some kind, or was she just trying to create a stir? Either way, this was a one-of-a-kind outfit. I don't want to completely bash it; it's definitely dramatic, well-made, and the color looks fantastic on her. I'm just personally a fan of the classic gown, so, needless to say, this will not become an addition to my wardrobe.

Now on to Miss Fergalicious Fergie. I love her and the Black Eyed Peas very very much. If you haven't heard it yet, I recommend "The Best One Yet", which is catchy and fun. But this outfit...ouch. Fergie is great shape, which is the only way she pulled this off. I mean, I'm a little old-fashioned in the sense that I think underwear should not be the main focal point of your outfit. The color and cut of the dress is very nice and complimentary to Fergie, and there's nothing wrong with the pattern either. I just don't like the black bra and panties showing. Sorry.

I don't think anyone will be surprised by my comments on Anne V's dress here. Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon Five, looks very classy and posh in his well-tailored suit. But Anne?

It goes without saying that Anne V is gorgeous. I love her beachy waves in her pretty blonde hair as well as her pretty, classy high heels. It's the dress that bothers me. She's got a great body and clearly wants to show it off, which is completely fine; but not like this. It sort of looks like she grabbed a bolt of fabric that wasn't big enough to cover her and wrapped it randomly around herself and then safety-pinned it. It is too revealing for a prestigious event like the Grammy's. I just don't like it.

I don't think this dress does anything for Katy Perry. I think she looks a lot thicker in the waist than she actually is, and it clashes with her hair as well. It wouldn't be terrible without the ribbon waistband, because the color is quite nice. The style is pretty if it were fitted a little bit better. Not the worst, but not the best.

I love this dress. I think Carrie Underwood is really flattered by the style of it, as well as the color and fabric. I also really like her simple but classic hairstyle and simple black clutch.

The dress moves really nicely as well, which is important. I'm all for simple outfits, but I'm also a fan of glamour. This dress is the perfect blend of simplicity and glamour. I think Carrie scored a ten out of ten here for outfit, hair, and accessory choice.

I'll conclude my article with the fabulous Adele. She's not a skinny girl, yet she, in my opinion, won the best dressed award. This gown is simple, shapely, and glamorous. The color is beautiful on her and very classic Grammy's. The pop of red lips adds a little extra flare without being over the top. Not only did she sweep with Grammy wins, but in my opinion, Adele was by far the best dressed at Grammy's 2012. Can't wait 'till next year!
